[Saba Sports News] According to recent media reports, Valtteri Bottas, currently with Sauber F1 Team, seems to have encountered conflicts regarding contract renewal with the team. Alfa Romeo initially intended to retain the Finnish veteran Bottas; however, Bottas requested a multi-year contract, which Alfa Romeo is unwilling to accept. Bottas may be looking to switch to other racing fields, with speculation suggesting he could move to compete in IndyCar next season. It is reported that Bottas is very interested in this series; he has publicly stated multiple times that F1 places too much emphasis on car performance, making drivers work like robots. IndyCar is America’s premier championship series and is also known as the Indy Racing League. The series originated in the United States and was initially organized by the American Automobile Association. The Indy 500 is not only participated in by American racers but is also highly regarded in European racing circles. American drivers emphasize that the oval racing format of IndyCar differs in technique and strategy from European circuit racing.
