[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon’s son, Pisa forward Louis Buffon, is about to celebrate his 18th birthday. In a recent interview, Buffon reflected on Louis’s growth experiences. Buffon stated, “He started playing football at 8, invited by Juventus. A year and a half later, he told me, ‘Dad, I feel unhappy.’ This surprised me a bit, but I understood and respected his choice. Six months later, Juventus asked me again if he wanted to come back. I consulted him, and he agreed to rejoin the training camp. After another six months, he said he felt bored again. So I told him, ‘Dear, you can go home, but we need to put an end to it with Juventus. Don’t ask me about their thoughts anymore; this is a matter of credibility.'”
Additionally, Buffon talked about his son Louis-Thomas’s life: “For the next four years, perhaps due to rebellion, Louis-Thomas did almost nothing and just played Fortnite. He even wanted me to accompany him abroad to participate in Fortnite competitions.” Buffon candidly noted that while his son was doing this at 14, he himself had already been traveling across Italy and Europe with the youth team at that age.
