[Saba Sports News] The Premier League season has come to an end, and Burnley’s last game ended in a 1-2 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest. This loss resulted in Burnley finishing second from last in the Premier League and being relegated. What is even more disheartening for the team is that they have set a humiliating record. Burnley has only managed to win two home games this season, becoming the first team in Premier League history to achieve such a low number of home wins in a single season. Additionally, this season marks the second time in Premier League history that all newly promoted teams have been relegated, the last occurrence being in the 1997-98 season. The relegation is undoubtedly a disappointing result for Burnley, as it means losing the opportunity to compete in the top league and facing fierce competition in the English Championship to secure promotion again. The team will need to draw strength from this experience and work towards revival.
