[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, during Liverpool’s victory parade bus celebration, a car crash incident occurred. The incident happened in the evening around 6 o’clock. A 53-year-old British white male was arrested at the scene. The local police of Liverpool confirmed that they believe he is the driver of the car. At a press conference, the police stated that this incident is not related to terrorism, and confirmed that 27 people received treatment in the hospital after the incident, including 20 with minor injuries. Four children were injured, one of whom is in critical condition. The ambulance center said that two injured individuals, including a child, are in serious condition. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said that when they arrived at the scene, four people were trapped under the car. In response, Liverpool officials released a statement: “We have had direct contact with Merseyside police regarding the incident that occurred on Water Street as our trophy tour was about to conclude. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this serious incident. We will continue to fully support the emergency services and local government handling this matter.”
