[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Manchester United are looking to sign André Trindade from Wolverhampton Wanderers, with the recommendation coming from Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes. Casemiro is among the Manchester United stars backing the Brazilian compatriot’s move to Old Trafford. Although Wolves have had a dismal campaign this season and face relegation, the 24-year-old Trindade has delivered impressive performances in midfield. Besides Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes and former Wolves player Matheus Cunha also regard Trindade as a top-class player. Trindade has spent the past two seasons at Wolves, having joined from Brazilian side Fluminense for a fee of up to £21 million. It is understood that a transfer fee of around £35 million would persuade Wolves to sell, although this figure could drop significantly if the club are relegated.
The editor believes that the 34-year-old Casemiro will leave Manchester United when his contract expires at the end of the season, and Trindade would be an excellent replacement. Casemiro has been named in the latest Brazil national team squad as they prepare for the World Cup, while Trindade has missed out despite earning 13 caps for Brazil.
