[Saba Sports News] Previously, Chelsea officially announced its partnership with Mak Properties, and during the remainder of the season, the brand logo of DAMAC will appear on Chelsea’s shirt. Financial expert Rob Wilson commented: It’s interesting and unusual to see such a deal at this stage of the season. I think, from some perspectives, this reveals Chelsea’s helplessness in finding a shirt sponsor. The club’s attitude is clear: they hope to earn around £60 million annually through the sale of their shirt sponsorship. In my view, this price is too high, given the club’s performance and other factors. It’s worth noting that previously this season and last, Chelsea’s shirts had no advertising. Their previous shirt sponsor was Infinite Athlete, essentially a company owned by Boehly. The current situation shows that Chelsea cannot earn £60 million and also has little interest. Therefore, I believe they should lower their expectations and sign a contract at a lower price rather than missing out on an opportunity to earn up to £80 million over the past two seasons.
