[Saba Sports News] Recently, Chinese badminton player Chen Yufei discussed her future goals in a media interview. Chen Yufei stated that her next target is to participate in the Los Angeles Olympics. “Over the past six months, I’ve realized that I still deeply love badminton and really need it. I have strong ‘dull force’ – I didn’t feel particularly high pressure at the time, I was just doing what I needed to do, focusing on giving my best in daily training and competitions. Winning is just an outcome. I must dare to win and want to win to have a chance of winning. I have a relatively calm personality; I don’t aggressively fight for things. If something is meant to be mine, it will be. If not, that’s okay too. This equanimity can help me maintain a good mindset during competitions. However, currently, this same equanimity seems to make me lack competitiveness. I hope to become more ambitious and hungrier for victory. Since I’ve decided to return, it would be meaningless to continue approaching competitions with the same level of detachment. I still hope to achieve a Grand Slam. I want to attain all the achievements I haven’t yet accomplished; this can be considered a form of ambition for me.”
