[Saba Sports News] Former Italian international Giorgio Chiellini is currently pursuing an advanced management diploma and will soon return to Serie A’s Juventus in a new role. However, what surprised many is that his position upon returning to Juventus may not be related to football but rather in finance, human resources, or legal fields. It is reported that Chiellini was originally an academic star; he graduated from one of Italy’s top four economic universities, the University of Turin, which has a longer history than France’s renowned University of Paris and England’s Oxford and Cambridge universities. He majored in economics and was awarded a doctorate in economics. Chiellini has always been known for his tough playing style, presenting an image of a brute; however, in reality, he is a player full of wisdom. I believe that his academic achievements not only set an example for football players but also prove that sports and academics can coexist harmoniously. His academic success lays a solid foundation for his potential future roles in Juventus management or other fields.
