However, years have passed since the incident occurred, and Zhang has yet to address these debts. The latest documents indicate that creditors are seeking to seize Zhang’s annual salary during his time at Inter Milan, estimated at €914,000, despite Zhang not receiving a salary while serving as president. Once a prominent figure who led Inter Milan to glory, Zhang now finds himself under scrutiny due to massive debts. The bank believes that although Zhang may have nominally waived his salary during his presidency, it does not mean he lacks other assets to repay his debts. By demanding the seizure of his salary, they aim to strengthen their position in recovering debts and compel Zhang to repay promptly. However, based on existing information, Inter Milan believes there are sufficient grounds to reject this demand. The club emphasizes that it has never paid its president a salary throughout its history; this is part of the club’s tradition.
