[Saba Sports News] Southern Brazil has recently been struck by heavy rains, resulting in floods that have claimed at least 83 lives, injured 276 people, and displaced more than 120,000 individuals in Rio Grande do Sul. Notably, former Spanish international Diego Costa plays for the Gremio club, located in Porto Alegre, the capital of the state. According to British media reports, Costa actively joined local flood disaster relief efforts. He, along with others, assisted in rescuing over 100 victims. Reports indicate that while driving home after training, Costa encountered individuals from South El Dorado seeking help. Without hesitation, Costa used his jeep and jet ski to aid in their rescue. He also rallied four companions, each bringing their own jet skis. Social media videos depict Costa navigating flooded streets in his jeep and assisting nearly a hundred people to safety.
