[Saba Sports News] Draymond Green’s suspension from the NBA has come to an end. The league announced on Saturday that Green’s 12-game suspension is officially over.
According to a league statement, the Golden State Warriors forward has been consistently attending counseling sessions and participating in discussions with league officials, the Warriors organization, and the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA). These meetings are set to continue throughout the season.
While Green is now eligible to play, the Warriors are planning a gradual reintroduction. As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Green is expected to spend about a week getting back into game-ready condition.
Recent developments indicated that Green was nearing approval to resume practice. The Warriors have a busy schedule this week, including the beginning of a four-game road trip on Friday.
Following an incident where Green struck Jusuf Nurkic in the head during a game on December 13, the league appears satisfied with his rehabilitation efforts. However, it is anticipated that Green will be subject to a strict policy regarding his on-court conduct moving forward.
