[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Chelsea legend Damien Duff, who now coaches Shelbourne in the Irish Premier Division, had to watch his team’s match against title rivals Bohemians in an unconventional manner due to a suspension. The 46-year-old Duff received a red card for the fifth time this season after last week’s victory over St Patrick’s Athletic, resulting in an automatic one-match ban. But this didn’t faze the resourceful manager; Duff was spotted on a nearby hill at Daly’s Mount Park wearing a mask and baseball cap combo for remote viewing. Although sharp-eyed fans recognized the disguise, they were impressed by his creativity. One netizen joked, “Duff’s perspective of the match at Daly’s Mount is unique.” Another person praised, “This might be the best League of Ireland photo I’ve ever seen.” Some jokingly called him wearing sniper camouflage, with more fans joining in to mock, “The sight of the suspended coach standing alone on the hill is classic.” Others admitted, “The guy always manages to make things interesting.” However, Duff’s experience watching the match wasn’t pleasant; his team lost 0-1, and two players were sent off consecutively, leaving him helpless as his team played with only nine men on the field.
