[Saba Sports News] Ferrari recently announced on their official website that they will supply engines to the new F1 team, Cadillac Racing. This collaboration has been officially confirmed by both parties. Cadillac Racing has confirmed its entry into F1 in 2026; however, their independently developed power unit will not be ready for use until the 2028 season. Therefore, they need to find an existing engine supplier in the first two years, ultimately choosing Ferrari as their customer team and thus becoming Cadillac’s temporary engine supplier. I believe this collaboration is a huge boost for Cadillac Racing. As a new team entering F1, Cadillac needs to quickly establish a competitive racing system, and the engine is a core component of the car, directly affecting the team’s performance. Ferrari, as a long-established strong team in F1, has accumulated and developed engine technology to a very high level over the years. Therefore, gaining access to Ferrari’s engines will undoubtedly enhance Cadillac’s competitiveness on the F1 stage.
