[Saba Sports News] Recently, seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton revealed that he has cleared out his collection of supercars and is now more interested in art collection. In an interview ahead of the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, when asked if he would acquire Ferrari’s latest flagship, the F80, Hamilton laughed and replied: “I don’t have any cars right now. I got rid of them all. I’m more into art now. If I were to buy a car, it would be an F40; it’s a work of art.” This ultimate player among fans once had a staggering garage worth around £13 million, with countless rare luxury cars and limited edition supercars parked in his private garages in Monaco and Los Angeles. Now he has chosen to “reset to zero,” turning instead to the world of art. His former dream cars included a Pagani Zonda 760 LH, Mercedes-AMG Project One, SLS Black Series, GT R, Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, Maybach S600, Ferrari LaFerrari, LaFerrari Aperta, 599 SA Aperta, 1966 Shelby Cobra 427, 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 “Eleanor” replica, McLaren P1, 1995 McLaren F1 (rumored to be chassis #044), Mini Cooper, Mercedes EQC electric car, as well as a Ducati Panigale V4 S and a limited edition MV Agusta F4 LH44. Although his garage is empty, Hamilton hasn’t completely abandoned his automotive dreams. He has stated: “The one thing I really want to do is design a Ferrari myself. I want to make an F44, based on the F40, with a proper manual gearbox. I’ll be working on that in the next few years.”
