[Saba Sports News] Back in May, Red Bull Racing’s chief designer Adrian Newey confirmed he would leave the team in Q1 of 2025, ending nearly two decades of collaboration with Red Bull Racing. Following this announcement, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner repeatedly emphasized in interviews that they have a stable technical team and that Newey’s departure would not impact the team. Yesterday, during an interview with Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz, Horner reiterated his belief that Red Bull has enough “strength and depth” to continue succeeding without Newey. He even compared this situation to Manchester United’s continued victories after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure. Horner stated that after Ronaldo transferred to Real Madrid in 2009, Manchester United won two more Premier League titles, three League Cups, and the UEFA Champions League title in 2008 under Sir Alex Ferguson before Ronaldo retired in 2013. Manchester United possessed strong strength and depth; they did not stop winning after Ronaldo left. Similarly, Red Bull Racing has the strength and depth to face all challenges.
