[Saba Sports News] The 2025 BWF World Tour Finals will kick off on December 17. Indonesian star Jonatan Christie has received significant off-court support before the finals, having officially signed a sponsorship deal with the well-known Indonesian restaurant company PT Waroeng Steak Indonesia.
Talking about this collaboration, Jonatan expressed that he has been greatly influenced by two legendary men’s doubles predecessors—Hendra Setiawan and Mohammad Ahsan—and plans to reference their experiences as free agents. He noted that Waroeng Steak is very attentive to athletes, especially those who have left the national team, and provides substantial support. One of the key factors for signing with Waroeng Steak was budget considerations. Jonatan explained that, as a professional athlete, he must bear all expenses himself, and this collaboration undoubtedly helps alleviate that financial pressure.
