[Saba Sports News] Kevin Love didn’t hold back when responding to a social media post from Angel Reese, in which the WNBA star outlined her ambitious career goals.
Reese shared an Instagram Stories post listing everything she aspires to be, which includes not only a basketball player but also a model, influencer, businesswoman, fashion icon, podcaster, and trendsetter.
She made it clear that she plans to “win at everything in life” and even set a personal goal of becoming a billionaire.
“I’M GOING TO BE A BASKETBALL PLAYER, MODEL,” Reese wrote. “AN INFLUENCER BUSINESS WOMAN, FASHION GIRLIE, PODCASTER, UNAPOLOGETIC, TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY/FRIENDS, SET RECORDS. CREATE HISTORY. BE THE FIRST, SET TRENDS. WIN AT EVERYTHING IN LIFE ETC. MY GOAL IN LIFE IS TO BE A BILLIONAIRE & I WILL WITHOUT A DOUBT.”
Love, 36, saw a repost from Uninterrupted highlighting Reese’s aspirations and decided to chime in with a blunt response.
“I’m gonna go ahead and take the under,” Love commented on Instagram.
His remark was a snide way of suggesting that Reese might be setting the bar a little too high. Whether he’s right or not, Reese isn’t backing down from her big dreams.
At 22, Reese has already built a name for herself as a star basketball player. She gained national attention while leading LSU to a championship and was later drafted in the first round by the Chicago Sky.
In her rookie WNBA season, she averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game while earning an All-Star selection. She has also joined the new women’s 3-on-3 league, Unrivaled, and has been working closely with WNBA legend Lisa Leslie to refine her game.
Love, a five-time NBA All-Star now in his third season with the Miami Heat, has been making headlines lately with his social media takes. His latest comment, however, may be one of his most ruthless yet.
