[Saba Sports News] According to German media reports, Jurgen Klopp’s annual salary at Red Bull will reach €10-12 million and his contract includes an exit option. Reports indicate that during his tenure as Red Bull’s global football director, Klopp’s annual salary will be between €10 million and €12 million. From Klopp’s perspective, this new job suits him very well. Klopp does not have to directly take responsibility for a team’s success and is therefore willing to accept a significant pay cut. Economic factors are important in his decision to return but are not decisive. However, the future position of head coach of the German national team remains an option for Klopp. Although Klopp’s contract with Red Bull is long-term, he can terminate it at any time if he receives a specific offer he desires. It is reported that there is no termination clause in Klopp’s contract but there is an exit option; all parties involved have verbally agreed on this decision out of mutual respect. It remains to be seen how Bundesliga fans feel about Klopp’s appointment at Red Bull.
