Reports indicate that during his tenure as Red Bull’s global football director, Klopp’s annual salary will be between €10 million and €12 million. From Klopp’s perspective, this new job suits him very well. Klopp does not have to directly take responsibility for a team’s success and is therefore willing to accept a significant pay cut.
