[Saba Sports News] As trade rumors continue to swirl around Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bucks teammate Kyle Kuzma is sending him a playful—but pointed—message.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Kuzma jokingly issued a warning to Antetokounmpo if he decides to leave Milwaukee this offseason. Kuzma posted a video of himself boxing with the caption, “Me to (Giannis) if you leave next year.”
Kuzma, who joined the Bucks at the trade deadline, has only played alongside Antetokounmpo since February but clearly wants to keep the partnership going. If Giannis were to leave, Milwaukee would likely be forced into a quick retool or rebuild.
Whether Antetokounmpo plans to request a trade remains uncertain. He’d draw massive interest if made available, but so far, no firm decision has been reported.
The Bucks have now suffered three straight first-round playoff exits—a streak Giannis is surely eager to break if he stays put. Kuzma, for his part, didn’t move the needle much this postseason, so his light-hearted “threat” may not carry much weight with the two-time MVP.
