[Saba Sports News] LeBron James took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate his son Bryce’s announcement of his college decision. Bryce revealed that he will be playing basketball at the University of Arizona, joining the Wildcats under head coach Tommy Lloyd.
LeBron shared a photo of Bryce in an Arizona uniform alongside Coach Lloyd, accompanied by the iconic Arizona “Bear Down” chant.
“CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!!” LeBron wrote, adding a flurry of celebratory emojis to express his excitement.
Bryce James, a senior at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California, is a 6-foot-5 guard and a 3-star recruit according to 247 Sports. Before choosing Arizona, Bryce was also considering Duquesne, Ohio State, and USC.
His older brother Bronny attended USC before declaring for the NBA draft after one season. It remains to be seen whether Bryce will follow the same one-and-done path.
As part of the 2025 recruiting class, Bryce is set to begin his college journey in the fall, with Wildcats fans eagerly anticipating his arrival.
