Manchester United is now requesting that the missing tickets from their allocation for the FA Cup match on Sunday be given to neutral fans. In their upcoming FA Cup match against Arsenal, the home team was supposed to provide 9,000 tickets to Manchester United, but Arsenal only provided 8,000 due to “safety reasons,” which has frustrated Manchester United. Manchester United has lodged a complaint with the FA regarding this issue. Reports indicate that Manchester United has expressed a willingness to personally select the 1,000 missing seats and suggested that safety officials allocate the tickets to families and children chosen by the club’s charitable organization. However, Arsenal has not cooperated, and with only a few days left before the match, there has been no response from Arsenal. Manchester United has contacted the FA with a unique proposal, asking if the remaining 1,000 tickets could be allocated to neutral fans selected by the FA. Manchester United’s suggestion is to use this opportunity to allow those who don’t often have the means to watch matches, such as healthcare, fire, and emergency service personnel, as well as those involved in grassroots football with the FA, to attend the match between the two biggest clubs in the country.
