[Saba Sports News] For many years, Red Bull Racing has performed strongly at Mexico’s Rodriguez Circuit, but that momentum ended last Sunday. Due to two penalties, reigning F1 world champion Max Verstappen finished only sixth, while teammate Sergio Perez failed to score points in his home race. Red Bull has not won any of the last ten races, making the situation look grim. Currently, Red Bull has dropped to third place in the Constructors’ Championship standings, overtaken by Ferrari. After the race, Red Bull advisor Dr. Helmut Marko concluded from the Mexico City race that due to engine issues, Verstappen could hardly practice on Friday, and competitors Ferrari and McLaren had cars that were too fast. With four races remaining in the season, Marko believes Red Bull can still contend for victory on two tracks: Qatar and Las Vegas. However, regarding the São Paulo Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Dr. Marko thinks these two races have many slow corners where the RB20 car has no advantage, and Red Bull may not even have a chance to stand on the podium.
