[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, the Milan court has rejected the request to suspend the sale of San Siro Stadium, allowing Inter and AC Milan time to complete the transaction before the hearing on November 11. The Lombardy Administrative Court denied the emergency suspension request filed by the Green San Siro Association and over a hundred local residents, who sought to halt the Milan municipal government’s resolution to sell San Siro to Inter Milan and AC Milan. These residents had previously submitted an appeal to prevent the demolition of the Meazza Stadium. The court has scheduled the hearing for November 11. Until then, the two clubs can proceed with the transaction, as the ruling stated: “Contrary to what was claimed in the emergency unilateral preventive measure application, there is no such serious and urgent damage that cannot await the collegial panel’s review of the preventive request. Moreover, the contested resolution about to take effect and the potential signing of the sales contract do not constitute current harm to the specific interests represented by the complainants, who claim losses due to urban construction and architectural modifications, as well as work that has not yet been immediately implemented.”
