Mbappé has appealed the ruling, demanding that Paris Saint-Germain pay him the owed amount. As of now, Mbappe has still not received the payments, but the Ligue 1 disciplinary committee is unable to impose sanctions on Paris Saint-Germain, prompting the player to file a lawsuit in Paris court. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain must also explain this debt to UEFA. According to regulations, clubs participating in European competitions cannot owe employee wages, and Paris Saint-Germain must submit proof of no outstanding debts by January 15. In response, Paris Saint-Germain stated that they are calm and believe they can provide the required information to UEFA by the deadline. According to Mbappé’s entourage, UEFA now has all the necessary information to make a decision, as the court and Ligue 1 confirmed the existence of the unpaid wages at the end of October, and the discussion now centers on what punishment to impose on the club.
