[Saba Sports News] According to Brazilian media reports, Brazilian police have concluded their investigation into allegations of domestic violence against Antony and found insufficient evidence to support the claims, thus they will not file charges against him. Antony’s ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallian accused him of domestic violence last June, which Antony denied. The Sao Paulo police investigated the allegation but did not find enough evidence to prove Antony committed domestic violence, so they will not pursue charges. Currently, neither party’s lawyers have commented on this matter, but Antony has consistently denied these allegations. However, Brazil’s prosecutor’s office may hold a different opinion from the police and could potentially file charges against Antony regarding one of the allegations. If the prosecutor’s office decides not to prosecute, the case will conclude in Brazil. Meanwhile, in the UK, investigations into Antony’s alleged domestic violence are still ongoing. Manchester police are still investigating whether Antony committed acts of physical harm, unlawful imprisonment, stalking, and domestic violence against Cavallian in the UK, and Antony’s phone is currently under examination by investigative agencies.
