[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Graham Potter will receive a bonus of 7 million Swedish kronor (approximately €644,000) after leading Sweden to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Potter took charge of the Swedish national team last October, following the sacking of Jon Dahl Tomasson by the Swedish Football Association. At that time, the team’s hopes of reaching this summer’s World Cup finals appeared extremely slim. In the play-offs, Potter guided Sweden to victories over Ukraine and Poland to secure a World Cup spot, earning him a substantial bonus. Potter’s monthly salary is not particularly high, roughly in line with the wages of previous Sweden managers. It is far lower than what he earned while coaching in the Premier League – for instance, during his time at Chelsea, his annual salary was around 150 million Swedish kronor. Potter’s contract includes a World Cup qualification bonus, reportedly worth about 7 million Swedish kronor. It should be noted that this is the pre-tax amount.
