[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Marcus Rashford has rejected a £675,000 weekly salary offer from Saudi Arabia, which would nearly double his wage at Manchester United. Reports indicate that Rashford turned down a £35 million annual contract, rejecting three Saudi offers that would have placed him among the top 10 earners in Saudi football, but he chose to forgo the opportunity to become one of the highest-paid players in the world. If Rashford had accepted any of the offers, his weekly salary would have soared from £315,000 to nearly £675,000. Additionally, it is more profitable for Rashford as he wouldn’t have to pay taxes in Saudi Arabia, whereas in the UK he would face a maximum income tax rate of 45%. Recently, Rashford has been sidelined by Ruben Amorim, and Manchester United is preparing to let him leave in the winter transfer window. However, the 27-year-old Rashford is only willing to join a competitive team and league to have the chance to rejoin the England national team. Although Rashford expressed a willingness to accept a new challenge last month, he remains open to the idea of staying at Manchester United. Reports suggest that Manchester United is willing to listen to offers for Rashford to comply with profit and sustainability rules. If a new team pays the fees and covers a significant portion of his salary, the club may consider a loan.
