[Saba Sports News] Manchester United’s new shareholder, Sir James Ratcliffe, Britain’s wealthiest individual, has initiated significant efforts to enhance employee discipline since assuming office. The most prominent measure is undoubtedly the prohibition of remote work for employees. It is reported that Manchester United has been implementing flexible working hours since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Ratcliffe has issued the latest directive, mandating all employees to be physically present on-site to bolster productivity and foster unity and collaboration. Nonetheless, this decision has sparked discontent among many employees. As it is widely known, Manchester United boasts the largest workforce among many Premier League teams. The club may struggle to accommodate such a large number of employees on-site, as there may not be adequate space available at either the Manchester headquarters or the London branch. Some of the existing space is also utilized for receptions or other activities.
