[Saba Sports News] According to the latest reports from Italian media, following Roma’s recent 1-5 defeat to Fiorentina, the club has begun searching for a new head coach. They are very dissatisfied with the performance of the current coach, Ivan Juric, as Roma has been performing quite mediocre under his leadership, even worse than before. Italian legendary coach Roberto Mancini has just left the Saudi national team and is interested in returning to Europe. Roma is currently focusing on him. Mancini has extensive coaching experience in Serie A, having started his coaching career after officially retiring in 2001. He has coached Fiorentina, Lazio, and Inter Milan, and has been named Serie A’s best coach. Therefore, coaching Roma would be a suitable fit for him. This indicates that he holds a certain influence within Roma’s considerations for a new coach. Mancini officially became the new head coach of the Saudi national team on August 28, 2023, and left the position in October 2024.
