[Saba Sports News] According to reports from British media, Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior lashed out at Arsenal players before the kickoff of the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg on Tuesday night. Chelsea lost 0-1 to Arsenal and were eliminated with an aggregate score of 4-2 over the two legs. During the warm-up before the match, an agitated Rosenior confronted the Arsenal players. The 41-year-old was watching Chelsea’s pre-match warm-up at the Emirates Stadium when he noticed Arsenal players crossing into Chelsea’s half.
This made the Chelsea manager very angry, and he shouted at the Arsenal players and coaching staff, ordering them to stay in their own half for warm-ups. Rosenior was heard yelling, “Stay in your half, stay in your damn half.” As he approached the touchline, he repeatedly told them to “stay there,” pointing at the Arsenal players. He then complained about the incident to his assistant, continuing to glare in the direction of the opponents and repeating, “Stay there” one last time.
