[Saba Sports News] Sevilla recently filed an
official complaint against Real Madrid, specifically targeting Real Madrid TV,
the club’s official television station. Sevilla issued a statement through
their official website expressing condemnation for the production of programs
that aimed to target the head referee and VAR referee. In the statement,
Sevilla emphasized their strong opposition to practices that undermine the
integrity of referees. The club formally reported incidents involving referee
Diaz de Mera, which they claim were orchestrated by Real Madrid TV, as well as
practices of persecution and harassment by referee González Fuertes. Sevilla
have submitted a written statement to the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF)
and requested an investigation to determine if these actions violate
competition rules or other regulations. The club reiterated their strong
condemnation of such orchestrated practices, expressing concern that they will
damage the reputation of the refereeing institution, cause harm to Spanish
football, and pose integrity issues for the league.
