[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Italian national team coach Luciano Spalletti has implemented rigorous rules for his players participating in the European Championship. Firstly, the use of PlayStation consoles is strictly prohibited. Coaches have expressed concern over players spending excessive time playing video games and staying up late as a result. Nevertheless, the Italian national team has set up a dedicated games room with facilities including billiards, table football, table tennis, a Formula One racing simulator, and retro Famicom games. Secondly, with regard to smartphone usage, players are barred from wearing headphones or earplugs, as it is disliked by the coaches, and there are also restrictions on smartphone use. Players are permitted to use their phones before lunch and dinner and can make video calls to stay in touch with their families in Italy, but they are not allowed to use their phones at any other time. Lastly, a stringent schedule has been established, with a technical meeting scheduled for 12 noon, lunch at 12:45 pm, and dinner at 8 pm. Once the schedule is set, no late arrivals will be tolerated.
