[Saba Sports News] On June 13, two renowned Thai badminton players, Rawinda Prajongjai and former Thailand national team men’s singles player Sitthikom Thammasin, simultaneously posted their wedding photos on their personal social media accounts, suggesting that the happy event is imminent. Last year on March 23, Rawinda had already announced Sitthikom’s proposal on her social media account, receiving numerous blessings from fans and teammates alike. Given that the couple has been dating for many years, with their social media filled with photos of them together, it’s no longer surprising news to Thai fans. A week ago, Rawinda posted a date—June 20, 2025—and based on the tag, it appears to be the time for the banquet. Looking back at the couple’s careers, Rawinda has consistently paired with Jongkolphan Kittiharakul to represent the Thai national team in women’s doubles. Due to the overwhelming strength of China, Japan, and South Korea in women’s doubles, this Thai top pairing often found themselves competing in the quarterfinals or semifinals, with their highest-level championship being won at the 2024 Thailand Open. After the Paris Olympics, Rawinda/Kittiharakul decided to step away from the international stage. Sitthikom has continued to compete for the Thai national team in men’s singles, achieving modest success, with his career peak coming in the 2019 Macao Open final where he defeated Shi Yuqi in a comeback victory to secure his only Super 300 title. Currently, Sitthikom has transitioned into becoming a badminton coach, occasionally appearing at tournaments.
