[Saba Sports News] After the World Cup draw ceremony, this highly anticipated event has entered its countdown phase. Recently, British media highlighted some changes that will occur in the FIFA World Cup hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico. As part of the innovations, FIFA will conduct television interviews with coaches and players during halftime. All teams have been notified to cooperate with this requirement by providing personnel for interviews with the host broadcaster. Another change is that teams are now required to hold a press conference two days before the match, rather than the previous day, seemingly to accommodate European audiences. Additionally, for the final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New York-New Jersey, FIFA is expected to arrange a grand halftime show, which will almost certainly exceed the 15-minute time limit set by the competition regulations. Previously, FIFA ignored this regulation during the Club World Cup final, and it is anticipated that the same will happen in next year’s World Cup final. Halftime entertainment is viewed as an essential part of sports events in the U.S., often featuring top musical stars.
