[Saba Sports News] To welcome the China Badminton Masters, the highest prize money stop on the BWF World Tour Super 750, the main venue, Shenzhen Sports Center Gymnasium, has undergone a comprehensive upgrade. The gymnasium has not only been updated in appearance but also internally upgraded. It can accommodate approximately 15,000 spectators, and the advanced lighting and sound systems, high-definition screens, and comfortable seating will provide a first-class viewing experience. Additionally, the venue is the first large-scale comprehensive sports arena in China equipped with a “retractable roof + foldable mobile screen,” allowing for quick transitions between 16 high-level competitions, including basketball, tennis, ice hockey, and gymnastics. The 2024 China Badminton Masters is the final stop for points in the year-end finals and also the concluding event of this year’s high-level tournaments (750 level and above) with the highest prize money ($1.15 million). It is also worth mentioning that since its inception in 2005, the mixed doubles championship has always belonged to Chinese pairs. Will they be able to defend their title?
