Last weekend, as Verstappen secured his fourth F1 championship in Las Vegas, he managed to withstand Norris’s challenge, further solidifying his position as one of the most successful drivers in the sport. However, for a long time, the 27-year-old driver has been considering the possibility of retiring from F1, which is much earlier than fans would expect. In this regard, Jos Verstappen stated that his son’s contract with Red Bull ends in 2028, and it will depend on whether his son is still interested in F1 by then. All along, the motivation for his son to continue racing has not been the records; he does not need to win seven or eight F1 world championships, and he is very satisfied with what he has achieved so far.
