Team principal Laurent Mekies made it clear that the four-time Formula 1 World Champion is fully committed to the team at present and is doing his utmost to push for improvements in the car’s performance.
Since the start of the 2026 season, Red Bull’s performance has declined noticeably. Coupled with management reshuffles and the departure of key technical staff, concerns over the team’s competitiveness have grown among outsiders.
