Sports News] Since four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel announced his
retirement a few years ago, speculation about his future endeavors has been a
topic of great interest. Recently, following the Australian Grand Prix, Vettel,
who was present at the event, granted an interview to the media. During the
interview, he revealed part of his plans for this year, hinting that he would
make an announcement regarding his involvement in Formula 1. However, he chose
to keep the specifics confidential for the time being. When some media outlets
speculated that Vettel might replace Mercedes-Benz driver Lewis Hamilton, who
is set to depart at the end of the season, Vettel promptly denied any intention
of taking Hamilton’s seat. The editor believes that it is highly unlikely for
Vettel to return as an F1 driver. Instead, he may opt to pursue a role as an F1
official or consultant. Given his background and experience, serving as a
consultant could bring valuable benefits and assistance to a team. Vettel, a
four-time F1 world champion, officially retired in November 2022, concluding
his illustrious racing career. Throughout his career, he achieved 122 podium
finishes and secured 53 race victories.
