[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Florian Wirtz’s transfer to Liverpool is nearing completion, and Wirtz’s parents will receive a substantial commission from the deal. Reports indicate Wirtz’s medical checkup took place on Friday local time, with the transfer expected to become official upon successful completion. The contract was signed earlier. It is reported that Wirtz’s transfer fee is 140 million euros. Liverpool will pay a fixed amount of 125 million euros. An additional 15 million euros are more realistically achievable via performance-based clauses. Another 10 million euros represent more difficult-to-achieve bonus terms, including Wirtz playing a key role in helping his new club win the UEFA Champions League. Wirtz has signed a contract with Liverpool until at least 2030, earning between 20 and 22 million euros annually including bonuses. His parents will also benefit as they act as his advisors. They rejected using intermediaries, commonly done by English clubs, completing what is considered the biggest transaction in Bundesliga history without external consultants involved in commission splits. This means Wirtz’s parents will receive regular commissions equivalent to 10% of his total earnings. Liverpool will pay out 10 million euros over the next five years for this purpose.
