Sports News] During Juventus’ 1-0 home victory over Roma in the 18th round of
Serie A, an extreme Roma fan removed a seat and struck a Juventus fan on the
head, causing bleeding. Following this incident, Juventus made an official
announcement stating that as a result of the fan’s behavior, a penalty was
imposed on Roma as per Article 29, Paragraph 1, Item b of the Italian Football
Rules. The penalty was due to the Roma fan throwing a child seat into the
section occupied by the Juventus fans, resulting in minor injury to a
spectator. In response to the incident, Juventus Club took action and applied
the relevant provisions of their Code of Conduct. The responsible individuals
were punished and subsequently banned for life from attending football events
at Juventus’ home ground. Notably, this marked the first time Juventus
implemented such sanctions against visiting fans. It is worth mentioning that
the extreme Roma fan’s actions were considered unacceptable, and the punishment
imposed by Juventus is seen as justified.
