[Saba Sports News] As previously announced by La Liga giants Real
Madrid, they have extended their contract with Coach Carlo Ancelotti until
2026. This decision by Real Madrid has created a setback for the Brazilian
Football Association, as they had shown interest in signing Ancelotti and now
need to search for alternative candidates. It has been reported that the
Brazilian Football Association had preliminary contact with the current Serie A
Roma coach, Jose Mourinho. However, disappointing news followed as Mourinho has
expressed his focus on Roma and is awaiting contract extension negotiations with
the club. As a result, he has no intention of leaving Roma to become the coach
of the Brazil national team. Currently, the interim coach of the Brazilian
national team is Menezes, who coaches the U20 youth team. The Brazilian
Football Association is under pressure to find a suitable candidate who can
lead them to success in the 2026 World Cup. Two Brazilian coaches who have
received significant attention are Fluminense head coach Diniz and Palmeiras
head coach Ferreira.
