However, Morris, a former lottery pick, has a few hurdles to clear before the move can be finalized. Following his trade from the Philadelphia 76ers to the San Antonio Spurs as part of a multi-team deal, Morris needs to negotiate a buyout, forfeit a portion of his $17.1 million contract for this season, and then clear waivers.
