Sports News] Serie A has had a partnership with TIM, a telecommunications
company, for the past 25 years. However, a new sponsorship agreement has been
signed between Serie A and Enilive. Starting from the upcoming season, the
league will be known as Serie A Enilive. The contract between Serie A and
Enilive is for three years with an option to extend for an additional two
years. The annual value of the agreement is set at 22 million euros. As for
TIM, their offer to continue as the league’s title sponsor was to increase
their annual contribution from 15 million euros to 19 million euros. However,
Serie A ultimately decided to go with Enilive, which is a part of the energy
company Eni. Enilive focuses on sustainable energy resources, including
electric vehicle charging stations, service stations, biofuel refining, and
car-sharing applications. In addition to the title sponsor change, the train
company Frecciarossa has renewed its sponsorship agreement for the Italian Cup.
The new contract is worth 5.5 million euros per season for a period of three
years, representing a one-million-euro increase compared to the previous
three-year contract.
