Sports News] According to reports from British media, England’s national
football team will be accommodated in a lavish 94-room resort hotel during the
2024 European Championship. However, it has been revealed that the players’
wives will be staying 20 miles away from the resort. The Football Association
has reportedly spent £800,000 to secure the Weimar Golf and Spa Resort in
Blankenhayn, Germany. The hotel offers a range of amenities including swimming
pools, saunas, and gyms, and the team will bring their own chefs to cater to
their dietary needs. It is understood that the Football Association has
confirmed the booking for the period from June 14 to July 14. Meanwhile, the
wives of the players are considering staying at a separate five-star hotel
located 40 minutes away by car. Gareth Southgate, the England manager, is
expected to have one of the three best suites in the Weimar hotel, while other
players such as Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham will occupy high-end rooms or
suites. Each individual will have a handheld tablet to facilitate room service
and communication with the resort staff.
