[Saba Sports News] Devin Booker’s stint in the Phoenix Suns’ matchup against the Detroit Pistons at the Footprint Center was notably short-lived. Booker found himself ejected from the game merely 6 minutes after it began, much to the dismay of the Phoenix crowd.
The ejection came after Booker received two technical fouls by the 6:36 mark in the first quarter, leading to an automatic dismissal from the game. Additionally, Suns’ head coach Frank Vogel was penalized with a technical foul. The abrupt departure of Booker prompted chants of “ref you suck” from the Phoenix supporters.
Despite playing for only 5 minutes and scoring 7 points, Booker’s early exit hardly slowed down the Suns, who managed to extend their lead against the struggling 8-45 Pistons. This led to speculation among some fans that the referees might have been looking to level the playing field for Detroit.
