[Saba Sports News] According to Auto Motor and Sport, Red Bull claims that McLaren injected a small amount of liquid into its tire system to help cool the composite materials, and Ferrari was also mentioned in the report. This technique allegedly allows teams to enhance car performance by ensuring tires maintain lower temperatures for longer periods. In response, Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur addressed these allegations in an interview with RacingNews365. Vasseur stated that he does not know where these allegations originated and will not delve into the issue further because staying away from all controversies is one of the team’s requirements this year; he also does not understand this theory and pointed out that adding something to tires while driving is unrealistic. Mario Isola, head of F1 tire supplier Pirelli, stated that based on data available to the company, there is nothing unusual about McLaren’s or Ferrari’s tires and no evidence of interference with their tires has been found. If the FIA feels there are disputes and wants to investigate further, Pirelli will provide technical support.
