[Saba Sports News] WWE superstar The Miz couldn’t resist taking a playful swipe at James Harden during an interview at Saturday night’s Los Angeles Clippers game.
The Miz was at the game to promote the upcoming “WWE Raw” event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, the Clippers’ new home.
While speaking with the Clippers’ broadcast team, he hyped the wrestling show before being asked which Clippers player would make the best WWE wrestler.
“James Harden, just not in the playoffs. Regular season James Harden is definitely the WWE Superstar,” The Miz quipped, referencing Harden’s well-known struggles in postseason play.
Though the interviewer defended Harden, The Miz stood firm on his take. Harden’s career reputation as a dominant regular-season performer who falters in the playoffs has followed him for years.
While he’s no longer a primary scoring option, that narrative still lingers—something The Miz was quick to spotlight.
