[Saba Sports News] India announced two changes in their playing XI for the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series against Afghanistan after opting to bowl first at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.
Virat Kohli, who was unavailable for the first match due to personal reasons, walks in the playing XI. Tilak Varma makes way for him.
Notably, Kohli is playing his first T20I in nearly 14 months.
India have also changed their opening combination, including Yashasvi Jaiswal in place of Shubman Gill and pairing him with Rohit Sharma.
Jaiswal was expected the play in the previous T20I but the team management took a precautionary measure as he complained of a sore right groin right before the match.
The Men in Blue are leading in the series 1-0 as they won the last fixture by six wickets.
