[Saba Sports News] Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball icon Michael Jordan, was arrested in Florida on Monday and booked on multiple charges.
According to police records obtained by TMZ, Marcus was taken into custody and booked into the Orange County Jail on charges of driving under the influence, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest. Details surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Beyond being Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus is also known for his past relationship with Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen. The two dated for over a year before splitting in February 2024.
Rumors suggested that Michael’s public disapproval of the relationship played a role in their breakup. Their 16-year age gap—Marcus being 34 and Larsa 50—also drew attention. Larsa was reportedly “mortified” by Michael’s reaction. Adding to the drama, Michael and Scottie Pippen’s strained relationship in recent years made things even more complicated.
Marcus is one of three children Michael shares with his ex-wife, Juanita Vanoy. The six-time NBA champion also has twin daughters with his current wife, Yvette Prieto.
A former college basketball player, Marcus played at UCF from 2009 to 2012 and earned Second-Team All-Conference USA honors as a sophomore in 2011-12.
This is not Marcus Jordan’s first run-in with the law.
