[Saba Sports News] British driver Lewis Hamilton has joined the Ferrari team after the conclusion of last season’s F1. This news caused quite a stir in the F1 paddock. As the season ended, Hamilton also departed from the Mercedes team, and after saying goodbye, he gifted a farewell present to Mercedes. It is reported that Hamilton commissioned British artist Paul Oz to create an oil painting of himself in the car, intended to hang on the walls of Mercedes headquarters. Hamilton requested that the artwork be more related to the Mercedes car rather than the driver. The artist ultimately chose to paint a scene from the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix, a race won by the Mercedes team. Oz is well-known in the F1 paddock and is one of the most famous artists in the F1 racing world, recognized for creating several busts near McLaren’s Woking base.
